Default cheap vacation ideas for mom and me?

i'm thinking of an all inclusive in mexico. we kind of want to go to mexico, and dad isnt interested in mexico. so i think it woudl be a good choice. do you think its economical? how long shoudl we stay? 3, 4, 7 days? how long can we stay without getting sick? i'm sure i'll be fine but mom gets sick sorta easily. also do they put chlorine in the pool waters? should i call the individual hotels and ask?lol we're not gonna drink the water silly

Oh, I'm afraid that one day of drinking the water can do you in if you have a sensitive stomach! It is almost impossible to avod it completely! Bring your own water, or buy it there...

pay a coyote to put you across the border through the desert. there is a nice obstacle course with vigilantes and high elctrified fences. when you make it to the other side, the fun has just begun.

i have lived in Puerto Vallarta for the last 2 years, and i recommend going there for vacation. there are lots of nice hotels in nuevo vallarta that are affordable and offer good deals if you book in advance. just make sure you go to at least a 4 star... it is worth it, and don't drink the tap water - there is plenty of bottled water available everywhere. yes they put chlorine in the pools, they pump it full of chemicals, there is no way you can catch anything from the pool. or toilet sets for that matter... it is a MYTH. they cater to tourism, so everything is at the standards it is in north america. (as long as you go 4 star or more)

Go to Cozumel to an all inclusive resortI have been to the Ref Club three times and they just remodled it. I will go back. I would say to go three or four nights your first time. I have never gotten sick. There is purified water at most resort and bottled water. You can dring the water from the bars just not the tap. It is fun and if you are going with your mom it is better than Cancun for sure. They definatley put chlorine in the pools. Why do you ask that? The Ref Club has there own website(check it out), but book it through funjet or worry free vacations. It is a great deal you two can probably go gor little over a thousand. You can can't travel in the US that cheap. Don't forget your passport. It takes about 12 weeks.
