Hotels can run from 100 pesos to thousands of pesos a night.You don't usually find those two things,cheap & best, together.Also,Mexico is a large country not a city so it would depend on what you are interested in. There are hundreds of beaches,(over 10,000 kms of shore line) there are islands,mountains jungles,lakes, rivers,volcanoes, waterfalls,caves and caverns, archaeological sites, colonial cities, world class museums, art galleries,numerous World Heritage sites,large urban cities,small towns and villages.
