Default Questions about "All-inclusive trips" to Mexico from Canada???? Please REspond!!!?

We live in Alberta, Canada and are looking to go somewhere cheap and hot for a week all inclusive around beginning of Feb. I have checked out Expedia.ca (which seems to have the cheapest)) and found lots of trips around $2200 for two people all inclusive at about a 3star hotel. Is this a good deal? Or is it better to just book flight and then get hotel and all inclusive option once we arrive. Is internet the best place to book or would a travel agent be better? Any advice or websites I should check out....??? Please help>

$2200 for a 3 star seems a bit expensive, but it is winter. You could probably find better. I went to a 4.5 star a few summers ago for $876 per person, but it was a last minute deal. I've used expedia.ca before - they are based in Vancouver. Do your research on the resort and talk to friends/colleagues. It is way cheaper to book an all-inclusive package. The flight itself will cost $1000 each return. If your job is flexible, look into last minute deals that you book a week or two in advance.

if you have never been to mexico, an all-inclusive may be the way to go. You didn't mention the city where you are staying, but some things you may want to ask yourself before booking.Do I want to hang out with Canadians and Americans?Do I want to eat food that is cafeteria/food court quality?Am I going to be drinking heavily?if you answered "yes" then go all-inclusive.otherwise, book the airfare and hotel online, read some of the reviews that people have given for the hotels, and once you are there, ask around for good places to eat.

In the past I've found good deals for last minute travel from Canada on www.selloffvacations.com or www.itravel2000.com.
