What's the best time to book a trip to Cancun for Winter 2008?

My friend and I are planning a trip to Cancun, Mexico sometime in February 2008. I was wondering if there's a good time to book this trip. I wanted to book a flight & hotel package online. I've been checking many web-site such as expedia, orbitz, hotwire, etc. What's the best time of year to book this trip so I can get the cheapest price. Also, does anyone know any good web-sites that offer cheap prices? The hotel must be all-inclusive.Thanks!

February is considered the begining of off season, but if i were you I would book it as soon as possible. Avoid getting close to your date. Enjoy mexico and remember passport are now required.

If you stay away from the beach scene and the night life, I highly recommend Cancun.

If you like the party scene go during spring break. I went to cancun at the beginning of Feb. this year and there were quite a few people. just make sure you check out the resort. i am early 20's and was in a resort with middle agepeople. do your research!

to get it cheaper and reserve space i suggest 3 to 4 mths before

Hi,If you are looking for a less crowed time of year I suggest early December just before Christmas. I've been there twice and left Christmas eve and avoided the Christmas crowds. You'll find the best deals if you stay in Playa del Carmen or on Cozumel. If you want a five star, try Park Royal Cozumel, or Park Royal Cancun. If you want a contact that can get you a good deal email me through Big Kat and I'll give you all the details. There are some less expensive ways to travel. Fly into Cancun take the bus to Playa del Carmen and the Ferry to Cozumel. The bus is $16.00 round trip and the Ferry is $32.00 round trip. The bus ride is about an hour from the Airport to the Ferry and the boat ride is 30 minutes one way. So once you land you are in Cozumel in two hours.Enjoy

Right now is because most tour operators offer Early Booking Bonuses now for travel between Oct - Dec. Check with your travel agent and they can give you a list of what they call EBB's ( Early Booking Bonuses. )=)
