Default I am having surgery, and want to know where is safer. San Jose,Costa Rica, or Rio De Janeiro,Brazil?

I know I have to be careful in both spots, but I really wont be leaving my recovery hotel anyway, but either way, I am so undecided which place to go for safetiness. Surgery is so much cheaper in these countries.Just to add a bit more detail. These are the only two places I am considering. They have top notch surgeons there, most of them trained in the US. Millions of people a year are going to both places for surgery, as the US is highly overpriced. You don't always get what you pay for.and gustov, you're a moron. Im going to be out of it for weeks, of course Im worried about safetyness. Some people should learn to use their brain before they open their mouth

Yeah it is cheaper for a reason to I might add. I say USA for any operation, we have the best and most respected doctors in the world. Have it here, it is worth the extra money just for safety and far better quality medical care.

Have you considered going to SE Asia for surgery?Somehow, I see that as safer in terms of medical "quality". Prices are very competitive.

Girl, don't exxagerate, if you're going to stay in the hotel what are you afraid of? Do you think someone will invade your hotel to steal you? Anyway, San José is a safe city, don't generalize.
