Was there last summer. Good luck finding anything reasonable and nice. Honolulu is sort of a dump. You might want to consider the Big Island and the Fairmont Orchid. Great place!

Outrigger and OHANA Hotels has a military liaison office that offers room discounts to retired, active duty personnel and dependents, so call 800-279-0126 and they can quote you rates. They have a variety of hotels, so check out www.ohanahotels.com, find a hotel you like and you can request military reservations online as well. there are 2 hotels by the airport and they're usually $135 a night or so but there are cheaper hotels in waikiki for around $80/nt.

Head over to http://www.resideo.com/us/hawaii/honolulu and click the "Check Availability" button. Choose your dates, submit the form, then select "Pearl Harbor" from the distance dropdown -- that'll put the results in order...closest hotels to Pearl Harbor first, and it will show you how far they are.Good luck!

there is a hotel right next to the airport that is military friendly, most of the are. The airport is right across from Navy Housing, Caitlin Park and the PH is probably 10 minutes away. You should call the lodge at Hickam airforce base. They have decent rates based on your husband's rank and Hickam is side by side with PH so the commute shouldn't be a problem. When your done reuniting be sure check out the NEX, the largest one yet.

Hi, You should rent a car, taking taxis would be expensive, The Hale Koa is a military resort in Waikiki http://halekoa.com/index_secure.htm they have special rates and reservations for R&R, if you don't want to be in Waikiki, and would rather be close to Pearl Harbor the base, and the Arizona Memorial, it depends on what branch of service, Hickam has billeting/ look for the lodging tab when you open the link:www.hickamservices.com The Navy has lodging on Ford Island, which is where the Mighty Missouri is permanently docked. https://www.nexnet.nexweb.org/pls/nexlodge/process_find_lodge_formThe Army has lodging on Scholfield Barracks, wich is about a 30 minute drive from Honolulu, but very quiet and serene, much like staying in the countryhttps://www.nexnet.nexweb.org/pls/nexlodge/process_find_lodge_formI think you will find that staying in a military lodging facility will have monetary benefits, and will even leave you money for a car, You should be able to get into one of them.Aloha
