Default Different Ideas for Travelling in the U.S This Spring thru Fall!

Have you have been searching for a domestic vacation where you can relax, but have things to do that are outside of your daily life? With the price of gas these days, you want to make sure you are getting a good deal on the hotel, air, car, etc.

California is one spot that has perfect weather and can offer everything. If you have never taken a drive done the Pacific Coast of California, you are missing out! Absolute majestic beauty! You may want to have fun and shop in LA, but if that is not for you, there is so much more to do. There are the beaches, the surfers, the cool little neighborhoods like Venice Beach. I know Travelocity has an exclusive deal with California hotels and packages (includes air and car). I believe you get even more money off (another $75) if you use your MasterCard. Check it out.

If you are more interested in a quaint mountain town, how about the Colorado Rockies? There are cabins, full service hotels, bed and breakfasts and fun events going on almost every week. When you go to the Gunnison/Crested Butte site, you will see there is horseback riding, fly fishing, etc. Gunnison County is home to nearly 100 miles of the West Elk Loop, one of 21 scenic byways in Colorado- the closest you can come to a wilderness experience in a passenger car. The Black Canyon of the Gunnison, one of the country's newest National Parks is just a one hour ride from the City of Gunnison and, Curecanti, a National Recreation Area is 15 minutes away. Nearby at the Blue Mesa Reservoir, Colorado's largest body of water, the primary features are boat rentals, picnic areas, fishing and camping facilities. It's also a great place to relax and take in the spectacular scenery! Currently there is a 15% discount on a number of activities and lodging, check it out.
Moving towards the East Coast, Maine is fantastic this time of year. I found a “resort” that is really like a bed and breakfast with rooms and cottages that is all inclusive. All home cooked meals on scenic grounds. There is a pool, a bay and a kid’s camp! This place is perfect for families, couples and friends travelling together for some relaxation, nature and outdoor sports. Sailing is big at Linekin, offering the largest resort sailing fleet on the East Coast; Linekin invites you to sail "on your own" in one of their twenty Rhodes 19's. Sail while learning under the competent guidance of instructors in their Pearson 30 auxiliary or Rhodes. Sail in the weekly regatta and pit your skill against other guests.
One can’t discuss domestic vacationing without mentioning Florida! No, Orlando is not just for kids any more! There is so much to do in Orlando and the prices are extremely reasonable. Currently, the Swan and Dolphin (a full service resort in Disney) is offering all sorts of discounts, even through the holiday periods.
If none of these ideas appeal to you, check out www.dunhillvacations.com , what they do is work with tons of wholesalers, hotels and cruise lines and choose the best deals available. This is not about the cheapest vacation; it is about getting the most value out of your vacation. If you are particularly interested in the U.S., go here:
