When I travel overseas, I always avoid putting my passport in my pocket. Instead I always hang it around my neck even when I'm going to sleep. Just afraid that somebody might break into your hotel room and got away with your passport while sleeping. Anybody here have the same paranoia?

I feel the same. I just think that the passport is the most important thing when I travel. I would rather lose my baggages but not the passport. I just can't imagine what I would do if I lose it in a foreign land.
