Hi,

I am planning to visit Italy in Feb and was keen to take a road trip from Rome to Florence to soak in the countryside.

As per my itenary, we could spare two full nights for the road trip...I guess that should be time enough to cover quite a few spots.

I wanted your advice on whether it is safe to drive through Tuscany on our own?

Also, if you could pls guide me on the route that we could chart. We plan to kick off from Rome and end at Florence. In between, from what I have been able to research so far, Sienna, Chianti region, Chinque Terre (although its a little off beat) and Pisa are the spots that we feel we could cover. Would really appreciate your input on the same.
