Mousewar

I'm going to France soon and want to rent a car. Only problem is that I'm 24 so am getting stung for €30 a day as I'm under 25. Over the course of the week this is doubling the price to over €400 which is grotesquely expensive. Any way around this? Any cheaper companies in south France? Are a mere 12 months going to prove this costly to me?..........

I used europcar in the Alps when under 25 and did not get stungholidayautos.co.uk are often cheap too, but not sure about under 25s
