Cheap florida Holiday ? Have you ever considered staying in a KOA lodge? A two bedroom unattached cottage with bathroom, kitchen, living room, bunk beds for the kids, front porch with swing, and picnic table with grill is usually about same price as a single hotel room in the same area. You have to bring (or buy) your own sheets, pillows, towels, soap, and so on but if you are saving $100 a night on lodging, low cost supplies (or flying with an extra suitcase) will more than pay for themselves. Some cottages and lodges are equipped with dishes and cooking pots, some are not. Most KOAs have whirlpools, swimming pools, organized activities, and so on. Accodations are clean, but not to the "like never used" standards of better hotels. http://www.koa.com/facilities/ |
