Anywhere you want. India, Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Taiwan all have good tourism. You weren't specific in your question, so I can't be either.

Go to Bali (Indonesia)It's a four hour flight from Hong Kong. You can hire a personal tour guide to show you the island all week long (during the day of course)You can get really nice lodging for a decent price. My husband and I went there, had a whole cottage to ourselves for less than $150 per night. Sorry I can't remember the name of it but it was on the southwest coast.Make sure you bring pants...some tourist sites do not allow bare legs.

The Maldives is one of the most romantic places in Asia but avoid its rainy season which runs from May til November. I stayed at Vabbinfaru island (banyan tree resort) which is a collection of little chalets with outdoor jacuzzi and its own patch of private beach. The sea creatures are so charming and aplenty that it's not hard to get addicted to snorkeling here. Warm sea, pleasant breeze, nice honeymoon crowd and gentle maldivean staff. Prices are on the upper range but not much more than those at luxurious Thai, Balinese or Malaysian resorts.

I agree with JL and I suggest you go to Bali. Bali is one of the most romantic islands on this earth (in my opinion) and the hotels are simply spectacular, the most beautiful hotel-resorts I have ever seen. If you can afford it, go to the large chain hotels like the Four Seasons, you wont regret it. If not, you can opt for the cheaper hotels which are nearby, you get the same ambience for less price. The island is also full of cultural experiences as the Balinese are a very religious and artistic people. You can visit their villages and see artisans create some of the most beautiful wooden furniture and arts and crafts in Asia. There are also numerous Balinese temples that you can see. If you're into golf, Bali has some pretty good golf courses as well. Other activities include getting a massage, spa treatments, and the like. The food is very good and affordable. A must try is the "babi guling" which is roasted pork served with rice. The Balinese can eat pork as most of them are hindu, not muslim.

I highly recommend Maldives. Great white sand and nice blue water.

I live in Bali, but do NOT come here or to anywhere in Indonesia. You'll have alot of trouble and make bad memories for your honeymoon.I suggest you go to Kota Kinabalu on the Borneo side of Malaysia. I've been there, and it's tropical and beautiful. Or at least go to Kuala Lumpur!
