Good affordable hotel or motel in Atlanta near 30312? If you're paying less than $90 for a room (posted general web price) your chances of decency decline rapidly. Atlanta's hotel occupancy rate is not a problem, conventions and visitors are a major industry - especially in the areas between the airport and downtown. Availability should be your greatest concern.Holiday Inn Turner Field - there's several Holiday Inns (Express, Select, Standard) in the area.. check with them - they usually give better rates when you book online (I've saved HALF the price via HI online versus walk-up desk price). Embassy Suites Centennial Park. Wyndham Garden downtown.Hampton Inns, Marriotts or Days Inns can be decent. Booking through Expedia (don't limit yourself to one service, see which one gets you a better rate) can save you significant money as well.I'm not keen on EconoLodge, Super 8, Best Western and Knights Inns. But check this out:http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll?qscr=dspv&&itid=&itdx=&itty=&from=fIt's for the Super 8 downtown. It's candid, honest - and might be just what you're looking for. Rooms start at $99. |
