 Which vacation?
Although I've never been to any of the locations you asked about, AND I have a real fascination with Japan and Japanese culture, I think I'd have to go with the tour of Europe. You didn't specify cities, but the chance to go to London, Paris, Venice and/or Florence and Madrid (I'm guessing) and maybe sneak off from the tour for a bit of less touristy experience (ala Rick Steve) just sounds too good to pass up. If I'm just going to veg at a resort, there are several places around here that I can do that at more easily and cheaply, and without stressing about the fact that I'm not doing more while I'm in a country I want to explore.
