Default What should I bring with me for my summer in Europe?

I am currently creating a list of things I need to remember to take with me for my summer in Europe. Basically, these are things I need to buy beforehand and I am trying to figure this all now so I can go ahead and start buying bits and pieces here and there so I won't spend a lot of money right before I leave. Things on my list so far: toiletries + first aid, backpack, mailing supplies for back home, travel insurance, memory card + backup camera battery, power converter, good walking shoes, contact lenses.... Can you think of anything obvious I may be missing, besides clothes and Rx? Also, what should I bring in a miniature first aid kit (just in case- I'd hate to be in another country and not be able to get a bandaid or something due to language barriers)? Thank you for all of your advice!!

I'm a girl and I use a lot of toiletries.I find it's easier to buy them over there, however they will be more money and smaller. If you know of specific toiletries you use a lot, which might be difficult to get over there, I would stock up on those, rather than simple things like razors or shampoo.Btw, where are you going? Are you going to be living, studying, or backpacking? Each requires different packing lists lol... I've spent loads of time studying and traveling in Europe... email me if you have any further questions, I'd be happy to help.
