Why can't the US get 6 weeks vacation like France can?

Why can' the US have 20% unemployment rate?Benefits are not free and thousands of American companies are already struggling. Increasing their burden won't help them keep their doors open.Where do you propose the money comes from to pay for this? Most importantly, where do you think our kids will find jobs? Cause they ain't here no more.If you think it is so great in Europe, move there.Good luck

Americans are busy busy people. Americans are obsessed with money. Our lives depend on money more than ever these days. French people have it made. They don't have the same economy as us and they are a bit more laid back when it comes to how much time they work.We really could be better off if we had it like France. People would spend more time with their families and be less stressed. People might even be thinner cuz they would have more time to lose weight. Workaholics gain weight cuz they eat and eat but they don't get the time to burn it off.

We can - if we all take a 60% pay cut.But then - I can't even take the 2 weeks vacation, that I have now.
