Does anyone have advice on what travel guide to use for Southern Africa?

Hi! I'm traveling to Southern Africa---Malawi, South Africa, Zimbabwae, Lesotho, and Namibia--- and would like a travel guide that covers information on how to get between each country, hotel, dining, and national park regulations. I would prefer it be geared towards the budget traveler. I have used Lonely Planet in the past, and loved it, but i've heard the guide for Southern Africa is not very good. Any thoughts?

The best thing I can think of it Yahoo travel. I wish I could be of more use. Try http://www.expatriates.com Americans (Westerners) living all over the world answer ads for information, help, selling a car and even maybe being a guide.

Lonely Planet is by far the best guide in my own personal opinion. It has tons of information that is easy to read and digest in a simple and interesting language. It also provides a lot of valuable local insights such as tipping etc which other guides do not provide.
