Default How can I get priority immigrant visas?

I am sponsoring my father and mother for an immigrant visa. I started the process last year and the process is taking too long (I just received a letter yesterday for the Affidavit of Support (AOS) fee) and it will take a while before the whole process ends and my parents are able to join me here in the US. I have a dilemma, my parents are in Kenya and with the civil strife going on in Kenya right now (murders, riots, etc), my parents are begging me to write to the INS and hurry the process along as things are very dangerous in Kenya. There is no food, they are in lockdown and are really struggling to stay alive. Can anyone help me figure out a way to write to the INS so they can hurry the process along as I am very concerned and worried about my parents. I know there is a way to get the INS to issue visas based on priority however you have to be terminally ill or very sick (here in the US) in order for INS to issue visas for travel quickly. Can anyone help? Thanks!

You might have them go to another country that is safer while they continue the process. Send them plane tickets to the bahamas or somewhere similar. That is what I would do.

First of all, everyone hopes that the Kenyans can resolve the ugly situation soon.Secondly, there is no INS. That agency was decommissioned on March 1, 2003.Thirdly, CIS, which took the place of INS, does not issue visas, the State Department issues visas. If you submitted two I-130 forms for your parents, CIS approved them and then forwarded them to the U.S. embassy in Kenya.Once CIS approves a petition, their job is done. If you want expeditious handling of your parents' visa issuance, you'll need to communicate with the State Dept. to see if such a process is available.

Sorry, there's no such thing as a "priority" visa.Your priority is based on the date you file the request. You wait in line with everybody else.

You can go move back to Kenya to protect them instead of abandoning them like you did when you moved to the US

You certainly need to consider my services as soon as possible. You need to get your parents out of Kenya as soon as possible. I can quickly carry you through the procedure to follow so that your parents can get the US visas they desparately need. They would be given special consideration once you follow the right procedure and be iisued with visas AT THE KENYAN US CONSULATE. You have about three visa possibilities through which you can bring your parents to the USDue to my expertise in US immigration, I provide services to people intending to visit the US, change their immigration status while in the US or bring their families to the Unites States. I reccommend visas to apply for, define procedures to follow, help with determining documentation to submit and answer any questions that arise from my clients. Many people from around the world have achieved their intended immigration goals due to my expertise in US immigration logistics.I charge a fee for my services, the minimum of which is $20, payable in many forms. If you are interested, email me at georgia363@yahoo.com
