How Safe is it to travel to Kenya in Feb 08?

I can possibly go to Kenya but I am warned against it because of the recent election. What is the possiblity of the riots lasting until mid-Feb?

yeah don't go to Kenya. Go to Botswana, Johannesburg, Okavenga Delta, Cape Town...that is where i spent my summer.

Well, lets put it this way. i would recommend that you wear a 'ak47/rpg/grenade/machete/poison darts/Kenyan proof vest' otherwise you will be shot with an ak47, blown up with an rpg then reblown up with a grenade. afterwhich your very-much scattered remains will be hacked and poisoned then stampeded by a bunch of stinky Kenyans

About as safe as putting your wang in a meat grinder while the butcher isnt paying attention! President Kwai isnt trying to give up his position. Wether he stole the presidency or not isnt the issue to him. You may not see political resolve until mid March early April. Even then ethnic unrest will continue.
