Im traveling to Nairobi tomorrow.Is it safe to go there according to this recent riot?It's my first time visiting Africa and Im staying for 1 week. Shall I cancel my ticket?

Since this is your first time traveling to a foreign country and you are planning to stay for 1 week, I would be very concern about you and your family's safety at this time. I am sure there will be a better time to visit Kenya, The choice is yours to make.

As a Kenyan, I would say postpone your trip. If you can keep all the same bookings you have, but go in about a month, I would say do that. The election results are not in, and until those are in and the place has been quiet for about a month, I would say hang on a bit. I was supposed to go to Nairobi yesterday, and I recieved a call early in the morning from the organization that I was going through, and they told me not to come. I canceled my ticket and the airline still gave me full credit even this late.Good luck, I know it sucks.
