Disney World Christmas Day Parade is live, right????

On live with Regis and Kelly, they said that the next day they will be at Disney World hosting it, and on the commercial, Kelly was wearing a red shirt holding a tamborine and on the parade, she was wearing a green shirt. But the celebrities were all wearing the same thing.I'm confused. SOME ONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Santa is alive and well, he just shows up in Orlando a couple of weeks early to be 'live' in the parade.....think about it..;-)

Yes and no, it will take a minute to explain.There is a live parade at Disney on Christmas Day, and it does have celebrities and is filmed. It is not always the parade you see on TV. They do a back-up parade prior to Christmas Day (this year it was Dec 1) so that if on the day of the parade it is rainy, cold, too windy, or having some time of glitches or technical problem, they still have a parade to show. Sometimes l think they mix the two together to keep the broadcast to a certain amount of time. Hope that answers your question.

At 9am on the East Coast, they were showing pictures of Ryan Secrest at the Disneyland parade, where it would have been 6am. It was definitely taped, because it would have still been dark at Disneyland.Most of the Regis and Kelly stuff at Disney World is actually taped much earlier than the parade, although a small amount is live.
