Honestly...this is your biggest expense. We were down last year and I think I payed 4.50 for an 8ounce bottle of Diet Coke. Best advice I can give you...eat a huge big breakfast before you become a prisoner of Disney/. Depending where you are staying you can find a Denny's or an IHOP or a Golden Corral or something to that effect. I-drive is loaded as well as Kissimmie. Note..these places are priced higher than the average Denny's but; they are not Disney. If you go off sight breakfast is usually around 7 for adults and 5 for kids.I would recommend eating well inside the kingdom. Spend a few dollars more and enjoy the solitude of not tripping over people to eat. Dinner usually runs 25-30 a plate in "theme" venues. IF you do the fast food thing..a dog and a drink you are looking at around 11.75. You do the math. McDonalds has moved into the park and you can acquire cold french fries I think for like 5.00. Yeah, even Mickey D's is expensive here.If you would like more specifics please give me an email.I would maybe estimate 100.00 a day for the kids, and possibly 150-175 for adults.Suggestion. Take a water bottle and fill it up. Saves paying 4.50 for a bottle of water. Be careful! The check for outside bottles. Maybe buy one and recycle it.Oh, hotel breakfast buffets..be warned...they are carb feasts. No protein to be found. If you are okay with carbs and juice you will be okay. Other than that...good luck,

That depends on where you eat- sit down vs. counter service. The counter service is a bit cheaper. One thing we have always done with our 3 children (ages 9, 5, 2) is we only get 2 meals for all 3 of them. Sometimes my husband and I share one as well. You can really cut down the cost that way, and you still are full! Besides, you can always bring snacks into the park- we like to pack ziplocs with Goldfish, Cheez-its, bananas, etc... So, a rough figure would be anywhere from $50 per day to $100 per day for all of you, depending on the things I just mentioned. Have fun!

Food + Snacks cost a lot for children and even more for adults. Have you heard about the ~Disney Dining Plan~ it would save you some $$$ + the plan includes lunch, a snack, + a sit-down dinner -per person-per day!!

Have you considered staying on-site? On-site guests are eligible for the Disney Dining Plan, which provides one snack, one quick-service meal, and one table-service meal per night stayed. The cost is $37.99 for adults (ages 10+) and $9.99 for children (3-9), so the cost to your family would be $529.75.In case you don't already know, on-site guests receive various other perks, such as free transportation to and from the airport (a service that Disney calls "Magical Express"). On-site options for families of 5 are a bit lacking, but there are some available which may be worth looking into (the least-expensive options are a campsite at Fort Wilderness, two separate standard rooms at a Value-class resort, or a suite at All Star Music).
