So my school is going to Disney World in Fl.....but I am scared of roller coasters! I would much rather stay safe on the ground BUT everybody going on the trip LOVE roller coasters and I don't want to waste my whole trip on the ground waiting for them to get back and brag about how much fun THEY had!What should I do....and what are some rides in Disney that don't drop but do lots of twists and turns (b/c I think I can handle those)!Thanks a lot everyone!Oh and PLEASE NO "just go on the stupid thing" answers.....Thanks!

Ah, memory's a bit hazy on the subject of Disney World, but I think Thunder Mountain Railroad is a nice ups-and-downs wooden roller coaster. I mean, any wooden roller coaster will be mild, as they can't support loops and corkscrews.Also, the log flumes are gentle, though that one does have a large drop at the end (in which you will get VERY wet).

space mountain is pretty good.but i didnt ride many roller coasters there,theres much better things there than roller coasters.

You are lucky for two reasons:1. most people's lives do not ever require them to ride roller coasters if they don't want to and2. Disneyworld does not have that many roller coasters and there are lots of other fun things to do

Disney has like. . no roller coasters :SOnly a coupleTry to stay away from them and go on the kiddie rides ;]

Not to worry, Disney is very family friendly, and most attractions in all four parks cater to children of all ages.They have a beginner moderate ride you could try called Big Thunder Mountain in the Magic Kingdom. I too do not like wild rides, but this coaster is like a runaway train from the wild west and is a quick, tame ride.Avoid Space Mountain, anything with the word MOUNTAIN! except Big Thunder, even I can do it, but only if you want to try it!There are so many nice boat, slow rides, shows, parades, you will have a great time!

Don't worry. And when I say don't worry I really mean don't worry. SO many people are scared of roller coasters. Plus I think that when your friends see the roller coasters they won't go on them either.Just think about it, its DISNEY! What does disney bring up in your mind? I think of little kids playing around with mickey mouse and minnie mouse. Not scary rides. So there won't even be many freaky roller coasters there, just trust me!So I don't think that you should start worrying about it! It is going to be such a fun experience for you and when you get there you will be asking yourself why in the world did I start stressing about THIS?I really hope you do get over your fear and I also hope that this helped you!

well Florida is a big place and there are lots of rides i mean i used to hate going on roller coaster i was afraid of heights and well my bro say it ok so i went and there not really scary its ok just say you could do it and u can i meen sometimes rides can be scary but when u try it it will be like i want to go again. if u r still afraid of going on the roller coasters then just go on some of the other rides most of the roller coaster arent tht scary if u want to see the rides just go to the disneyland website and check out all the rides

Try and find someone else who doesn't like the big rides, see if you can buddy up and go your seperate way out of the group. If not you'l atleast have someone to talk too.To be honest I only recently started riding rollercoasters and disney isn't chalk full of them. So I wouldn't worry. I would try some of the 'less scary' ones ;D
