pop century resort @ disney world?

any advice? pros and consgoing 2nd week in january is it crowdeD?

i went over the summer and it was rly loud and crowded but it is pretty kewl

Pop Century has pretty basic rooms, a little on the small side. They do have a good sized food court in the main lobby building, which is convenient. Staying on Disney property is a good move, because then you can ride the buses everywhere: the parks, Downtown Disney, and to other resorts. The 2nd week of January will be very slow, but the hours will be shorter at the parks. Make sure to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours available for resort guests.

Okay.... I went there a couple of years ago and here are my pros and cons:PROS:1) A good price2) Very close to Epcot and MGM Studios3) Very kid oriented, lots of Disney characters4) Nice shopping5) Nice poolsCONS:1) No restuarants on the resort, except fast food.2) Rooms are on the smaller side.Have fun in Disney World!!!

In comparison to the other Value-class resorts at Walt Disney World, Pop Century is newer, has an indoor lounge, and a fountain play area for kids. It would be my choice of all the Value-class resorts.As for the second week in January, a few days will be busier than the others, but overall, it's a great time to go (both as far as prices and crowds are concerned).

pros: lots to see from different centurys, fun atmosphere for pictures, friendly cast members, huge pools, arcade, 1 good size shopping store, 1 food court w/different fast foods

cons: no restaurants, probably one of the busiest value resorts compared to the others because Pop Century is newerOverall, you will enjoy it!!

pop century is on the lower 'level' of disney hotels, it's not quite called a resort. A lot of it is very nice, the whole lobby building is very 'pop'. It's basically a hotel, like you'd find any place else, but is just dwarfed by other Disney resorts. For the money, it is great to stay on Disney property, with free bus transportation to the 4 parks, 2 waterparks and Downtown Disney.
