Default Question about working at Disney world....?

Ok this is going to sound a little ridiculous but how do you get to be a Disney princess? A character at the parks I mean. Or a Disney dancer? It has been my dream ever since I was a little kid. Disney is a big part of my life and I have always either wanted to be a dancer there or one of the princesses. No rude comments please.

Contact the employeement center. You probally have to be 18, 17 at the youngest. You will need to audition. Also, I think a lot of the characters are under 5'7" or something like that. If you don't make the audition, take a job elsewhere in the park ( rides, retail, food) audtions are held yearly or sometimes year-round. Once you have your foot in the door, it will be easy to transfer to the entertainment department. Auditions will probally be posted in break areas or employee areas like locker rooms or in company newsletters. Also, think of being a character outside the park, like on the cruise lines or in the hotels.http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/search/searchResults?qt=employment

Default Question about working at Disney world....?

This isn't really an appropriate question to ask in a public forum because it kind of ruins the magic, but I'd be more than happy to give you all the information you could possibly want if you would like to email me at halebopchica@yahoo.com. I'm what we call "close friends" with a few princesses and am a performer at Walt Disney World Resorts so I can answer anything you may want to know. Just drop me an email

Hi I am a Disney Cast-Member at the California Disneyland you have to go audition and meet the height and weight of the character you are auditioning for although you may be selected to play another role of a different character same for dancers/ actress's or actor's for stage performances and parades.
