personally, i think its going down hill. it had its golden age where the shows were prety good and clean and where the stories acctualy had morals (unlike Hannah Montana and the Suite Life of Zach and Cody)golden age shows: Boy Meets World, Smart Guy, Sister Sister, Lizzie McGuire, Thats So Raven (the older shows)...

The shows that are on there are really not for younger children, they are more for the mid teens, and I really think that Disney promotes too much materialism in the shows. All the girls act like boy crazy idiots.

I agree with you completely! When I was younger I loved That's So Raven, & Boy Meets World (I have the whole DVD set ) & Sister Sister and Smart Guy reruns are still playing on other channels! Those were the best shows ever, I luv them, I'm in highschool but I STILL WATCH THEM when they're on!Like you're right, Boy Meets World & Smart Guy dealt with issues like peer pressure, parental conflict, not feeling accepted in school (like for TJ especially), and how Cory tries to live up to his brother Eric, and even messages about Don't do drugs, Don't be pressured to have sex (Cory&Topanga, right) and those were just so great messages... I mean, what kind of message does Hannah Montana give to kids? Don't you wish you were me? Wear a blonde wig, have a one-hit wonder country singer dad, and you have it made?All those new show, seriously, the jokes are so annoying and & I feel like Disney is trying too hard with them, & Miley Cyrus just annoys ME! Especially on the HM show where her and her dad have those 'jokes'. It feels really.. eh. & I don't like how they encourage dating so young especially with really younger viewers, and it gives people pressure to want a bf or gf... because like constantly it's Miley having boy problems.. what kind of issues are those?Now I'm depressed, ... I'm going to go watch Boy Meets World.. I didn't really realize it but you're so right Disney Channel IS going downhill..
