Default Hotel Recommendation?

I'm going on vacation to Oahu, Hawaii. Can anyone recommend a hotel to stay at? Priceline, Expedia, Hotwire, and all those other sites didn't really help me out. I couldn't tell if the reviews were from real people or if they were posted by the hotels. Also, if anyone knows about different companies that help you plan your day please let me know. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!

You're going to have a great vacation, and a beautiful one as well. Try here, http://www.hawaii-vacation-hotels.us I stayed at two different islands, one week at one, and the other week, the other island, and they were able to book my hotel for both islands, when I went on vacation. If I were you, I recommend a hotel that's been around for a while, like the Marriott, The Wyland, or the Hyatt Regency. Booking online you're able to get a better deal, the sooner you book, at times.Enjoy your vacation and the beautiful blue warm ocean!

I highly recommend: http://www.tripadvisor.comI have been more than pleased with accommodations I have had recently, and it all began by reading the reviews there first, then going to the websites of the hotel. They have all proven out!Have a beautiful vacation, and leave your review on trip advisor for us.

My husband and I just went to Oahu and we stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki. We loved it. It was right on the beach and you could walk to shopping and food. They had nightly entertainment an the staff was very friendly.

One big piece of advice...don't stay in Waikiki! It's too crowded and doesn't feel like Hawaii, especially if it's your first time to Hawaii. Go and stay at Turtle Bay on the North Shore; I guess there isn't much of a beach there but it is much nicer than Waikiki.
