Tips for vacation in Ocean City, MD? My family will be arriving at the Hilton in Ocean City on Monday, July 30th and we will be staying through Tuesday, August 7th. Has anyone every stayed at the Ocean City Oceanfront Hilton before? How was it? Is it family-friendly? What types of activities does Ocean City offer for children (I have three young siblings, ages 10, 8, and 6)? I'll also be traveling with my father and step-mom and they want to know what kinds of entertainment the city offers for adults.

Tips for vacation in Ocean City, MD? OC has many activities for all age groups. For the younger crowd there is putt-putt golf, the beach, swimming pool(s) at the hotel, a shopping mall, the boardwalk, there is an under 21 night club off the boardwalk, rides on the pier, kiddie rides at the end of the boardwalk, whale watching cruises, etc., etc. No lack of things to do.For the adults there is parasailing, ocean kayaking, you could all rent a boat for the day, plenty of nightclubs.

Tips for vacation in Ocean City, MD? Here are some things to do in Ocean City with families. I don't know anything about the Hilton so I can't help you there.Ocean City’s highly-rated beaches serve as the perfect backdrop for lots of amusements that will put the spring back into your step. Fly a kite, build a sandcastle, or rent a bike and cruise down the boardwalk for a blast from the past. If you want to really feel the wind in your hair, rent a boat and sail through the waves. Eco-cruises through the bay will provide glimpses of wildlife, like porpoises and a number of bird species, and for some exercise you can always try your hand at canoeing or kayaking.Along the boardwalk you’ll also find rides, games, and arcades, so bring the kids out for an afternoon of abandonment. Plunge, spin, and play your way to that point where your senses are dazzled and your mind is truly at ease. You’re in a different place, physically and mentally, than you have been for most of the previous months, and that’s a very good thing. This will surely cause you to work up a healthy appetite, so luckily Ocean City is also known for an array of dining establishments that range from home-cooked and casual to elegant and seafood-themed.
