The bag has to be clear and the size should be 20x20cm (I think) and you can only take max. 5 liquids. Each liquid has to be max. 3oz. But if you want more information, check your airline website and they will have more, including restrictions.

You can use a quart size zip lock. I just did recently. The main thing they require is transparency so they can see what the items are and how much liquid they contain.

Normally it's a size of a ziplock bag. However, check with the airline (online) they will give you a specific instruction. The airport in England (Heathrow or Gatwick) would provide a clear bag before you get on the airplane

It is supposed to be a 1 qt. clear zip lock bag. You can get all of the information that you need at the TSA website https://www.tsa.gov/

3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce (3.4 to be exact) bottle or less (by volume) ; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-lock bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3.4 oz. container size is a security measure. Zip-lock bags are given out at the airport prior to entering security.Consolidate bottles into one bag and X-ray separately to speed screening.Be prepared. Each time TSA searches a carry-on it slows down the line. Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure a faster and easier checkpoint experience.3-1-1 is for short trips. If in doubt, put your liquids in checked luggage.Declare larger liquids. Medications, baby formula and food, breast milk, and juice are allowed in reasonable quantities exceeding three ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the checkpoint.Come early and be patient. Heavy travel volumes and the enhanced security process may mean longer lines at security checkpoints.Once again as I have said before do not look into airline information for security matters as they are not always current, look directly into the source (tsa website). Airlines and TSA are two different departments.
