They're OK. 32" pitch. Not much lumbar support, so bring a little pillow. Be sure to get an aisle seat!

Just like any other airline. Makes no difference. Your experience will be determined by the crew on your flight and at the gate. Those young folks try really hard. But some times you get a ticket agent or gate agent that doesn't give a f+=k about you and that's what it take to ruin your day.If weather is bad you might get suck at the taxiway waiting hours for clearance cramped in your seat with babies crying and messy toilets.Good luck with your trip.

To me not that comfortable at 6,3, so i had to start flying first class,, now if its a red-eye on delta lax to atl,, ill fly coach because its usually empty and i can lay down on all three seats...You couldnt pay me to fly anybody overseas for 15 hrs in a coach seat, unless the coach was almost empty

Delta coach seats are okay, but you don't want a center seat when it's three across. Also, some of the seats (like the ones in front of the exit row) don't recline, so I'd recommend you avoid those. The exit rows and the bulkhead seats (i.e., the first row) have the most leg room, and the seats over the wing give the smoothest ride if you encounter air turbulents. Check out seatguru.com for seat info for the specific plane type you'll be flying. The first class seats are definitely more comfy, but the coach seats are okay -- unless you're tall. If you're tall, then the upgrade to first class for your overseas flight would be well worth the $$. Have a good flight!

No better or worse than any other carrier. 17" wide, if you habe the middle seat in a "3' seating, you will experience togetherness as you haven't experienced for awhile. Enjoy your flight, and have a great trip!

Last time I flew on Delta, the seats were comfortable. Plus they had little touchable screen on the back of the seat in front of my seat. You could play games, watch movies, listen to music, and watch live satellite tv!

I have flown with almost every domestic carrier. Delta is a good airline, but don't expect their coach seats to be any better or worse than the others out there. All you can do is hope that the flight won't have too many passengers on it, in which case you might be able to stretch out on an empty row.If possible, get an aisle seat - they don't feel nearly as claustrophobic as middle and window. You might want to bring your own small pillow - many airlines don't stock enough anymore. Take along a little bit of reading material, hope they show a good movie, or take your own CD player with you. Hope you have a nice time.
