check every monday delta.com, there is special sale for last minutes travel( leave at Sat, reurn at Mon or Tue), and the fare is cheap, you can get to NYC for $248.

For $800, I'd try to nail a more expensive flight than San Francisco, because those flights are comparatively cheap.I'd look at Hawaii, for starters, even though you have the Friday/Sunday restriction. There's something decadent about 'hopping over the Pacific' for just a weekend. Otherwise, maybe an airfare market that doesn't get discounted that often: Denver, for example. The main thing is to USE that $800! You might call Delta and ask if you can redeem all or a portion of that money with one of their partner hotels.Wherever you use it, enjoy your trip!Kango Traveler

I'd go to Hawaii! It's about a 4.5 hour flight and if you leave early morning, see the island and come back. Otherwise: Albuquerque is nice!
