Default What US Airline Have The Best Inflight Service?

I'm pretty fond of Delta and their inflight service. I have flown on Continental, but I was asleep the entire flight so I don't know what went on during the flight.I'm not really concerned with the smaller carriers like Airtran and Southwest cause I just don't fly them.

depends on where you are going... if at all possible on overseas trips I book Delta (FF miles) as a code-share with Air France as the carrier. They have an open bar and MUCH better food! At least you arrive fed and liquored up!!

There's not much in the way of inflight service these days. Almost no one still has meals on domestic flights other than Continental, so it doesn't much matter who you pick.Given a choice, I'll take Continental. If they don't fly the route, I take whoever has the lowest fare on the most direct flight. If it's a flight to Europe, I usually prefer European airlines.P.S. Southwest is not a small airline. It's one of the largest airlines in the country in terms of passengers carried and has the best safety record.

I'd say Delta is the best. Their fares are always reasonable compared to others, service is always nice, good food. Also, if you do have to change your ticket, their change fee is only 50.00 while most carriers are 100.00.

jetbluehttp://www.designverb.com/wp-content/images/2007/01/jetblue.screens.jpg nice IFE's. jetBlue’s planes have more room per seat (all seats are leather) than many other airlines and their headrests have monitors with 38 channels of DirectTV available to each passenger, which really helps the travel time fly by. With their in flight channel you can track you flight across the country along with seeing how fast and high you are flying. It’s great for those of us who are into tracking the progress of things. They have also eliminated the class system, so everyone flies the same, their is no first class or business class and they do not charge for snacks. Many other airlines have long way to get to even get close service level provided by jetBlue.

Mr.T, I happen to agree with you on Delta. They have reasonable fares(believe it or not, more reasonable than jetBlue when I looked), seasoned and friendly FA's, they didn't loose my luggage and got it out efficiently, and they still serve complimentary snacks and beverages. My only cavy with Delta is that the seats on the MD-88's are a bit cramped. Delta is a great airline. American is also a decent choice.
