Default Airline Refund?

I bought an airplane ticket from Northwest, but I no longer need to go and now I don't want to go. Is their a way to get money back, sell it to another person, or reschedule it.

Yes you can get refund subject your airticket does not say-non refundable, restricted, non reroutable etc.. clauses.call up northwest and give them your ticket number so rest will be solved.

No refund will be issued unless your purchase agreement stated that you would be elligible for the refund. You may use the ticket for a latter date with a fee for the change.

With Southwest............tickets are FULLY REFUNDABLE if it is a non-restricted fare. Another words, if it is a full fare, it is refundable. If it is a "restricted" fare (usually the discount fares fall into this bracket, unless otherwise noted), it is not refundable, however, you won't lose your money as you can use that for up to1-year from date purchased. I'm not sure about Northwest.............All airlines have their own restrictions. Some charge fees for changes, and for not using previously purchased reservations. Good luck to you.
