Default Asiana Airlines Vs. Northwest Airlines?

I am going to Korea early next year and I have the option of taking either Asiana or Northwest Airlines. I have flown with Northwest before when I went to Japan, and it was totally awesome. Each seat has its own entertainment system, and it helped kill boredom. But this time, it seems that Asiana has a better price than anyone on the days I want, but I have never flown with them. My friends say that the flight attendents are hot, but I don`t think that helps kill boredom on a 12 hour flight. If I take Northwest, it has a layover in Nariita, and I don`t mind that, but there is a $300+ difference. What do you think?

i think that you should ask the airlines about their entertainment system, because older planes will not have any, but newer ones will. But i think that you should try Asiana airlines, because it is a $300+ difference.

Besides Asiana, you can choose Korean Airline. There are also individual entertainment system on each seat. The price travel with Korean Airline is cheap. My friends told me that Asiana is quite good but I still dont have the chance to travel with it. If there is 300 + difference, it's good to try.

Check this out: http://us.flyasiana.com/Global/US/en/homepage?fid=INFO13130Asiana is a good airline and if you are an United mileage plus member, you will be able to earn miles flying with Asiana. I would fly with Asiana because it is cheaper and I wont have a layover (not that i dont want to visit Narita...i just prefer non-stops)

Asiana was recently named a 5 star airline by Skytrax, the world's largest passenger opinion and ratings service for the airline industry. Only five airlines in the world earned that distinction, Northwest is given a 3 star rating. Not only will you be saving money, but you'll be flying a much better airline:http://www.airlinequality.com/StarRanking/5star.htm

I would definitely go with Asiana. They are a great airline. If you think Northwest offers good service, you will be amazed at the service of an Asian carrier. Their flight attendants go through a very rigorous training program so they are extremely polite and very professional. I would say you should try Asiana and see what you think. If you don't like it, you can always fly Northwest next time.

Definitely Asiana! It's one of the best Asian airlines around, probably second best to Cathay. Northwest is pretty good for US standards but pales in comparison to most of the international carriers.
