I am on their email list and am a Rapid Rewards (frequent traveler) member, but I don't remember ever receiving a promotion code.I suggest that you go on www.southwest.com and check out their special offers. They vary from time to time, but you can occasionally get "fly 2 get 1 free" deals. Also register for their "Ding" alerts. It's a software that you can download that will let you know if they have a limited-time special fare - usually the deal is good, but the travel window is small and you have to take advantage of the offer right away.
