Southwest Airlines? We have always had good service on SW, to & from Midway. We know they don't serve food on our particular flights, so we bring our own. The last time , we each took a Subway Chicken sub and people actually offered us double for half.

Southwest Airlines? I've flown on Southwest many times, and I like them a lot. I know some people find them disappointing since there is no first class or full meal service. I find them to be a good low-cost carrier though. They seem to have more leg-room than other planes I've been on in coach. They don't assign seats. When you check in, you are assigned a letter based on your check-in time. (Either A, B, or C) They board by letter, with A's boarding first. When your group letter is called, you pick any available seat. Much better than being stuck in a seat you don't want. I figure that if people get a lousy seat on Southwest, it's their own fault for arriving late. Another thing I like are the seats themselves. They are all leather and more comfortable than the materials in most other planes. Also, the flight attendants seem more laid-back and relaxed. Even though there are no meals, you still get sodas/juice and pretzels or peanuts. If you're on a long flight, you can buy something in the gate area (sandwich, etc) and bring it onboard. I've only been on 2 hour flights myself, so I'm usually fine with just the snack service. One other plus (and maybe this is just pure luck) is that I've never experienced any long delays with Southwest. With Continental and America West, I was used to the typical hour long wait.

Southwest Airlines? Southwest is a pretty good airline. It has a pretty good on time rate and the seats are pretty comfortable. Check this out:http://www.zagat.com/img/promo/airlineRes/USAirline07ALL.pdf

Southwest Airlines? they have good pricing, but it is definitely no frills. You can find some competitive flights on other major airlines through SpinCityTravel.com. They even offer package deals with hotel and car for very reasonable rates.

Southwest Airlines? If you are looking for low price, SW is good.If you are looking for a quick & comfortable trip, the look elsewhere. If you are flying a long distance, expect several stops.Flying from Oakland, Ca to Viginia Beach, Va, I was supposed to only stop in San Diego. The plane stopped in San Diego, Las Vegas, Oklahoma, & Kansas City. Total travel time was 20 very cramped uncomfortable hours. They don't feed you anything more than peanuts, also. Got 2 bags the entire trip.I've flown to the Philippines (twice the distance) in 12 - 13 hours all 9 times I've been.South West stinks!

Southwest Airlines? If you are looking for an airline to get you home and back,Southwest is the way to go.But people say its the cheapest,No there not.Look around,Try expidea.I found US Airways had cheaper flights to Albuquerque,NM. If you are going to places Like Denver,Try Frontier Airlines its there Hub.So they have cheap daily flights to Denver. and Look around. But so Southwest is a simple airline. The end
