Spirt airlines, the flight attendent will take care of your child and make sure he or she goes where they need to go after they get off the plane, goodluck.

Most airlines should allow 14-year-olds to fly alone, as an unaccompanied minor. I know that Southwest airlines doesn't charge an extra fee for a minor flying alone; check their website (http://www.southwest.com/) for flight info and to buy tickets (you can buy one for the Youth price). You can't fly on a flight that switches planes or flight numbers, so find a non-stop flight. You'll need to verify your age when you check in at the airport, so find/get a photo ID that has your birthdate on it, or bring a photo ID (i.e. school ID) without your birthdate and a copy of your birth certificate. There also may be additional paperwork to fill out. You'll get to pre-board the plane, and the person meeting you at your destination can get special clearance to come through security and get you. Since you're over 12, you may also be able to just walk out and find them outside of security.Good luck, and have fun in NY!
