United is alor better then U.S. airways, last time I flew US airways, the airplane almost fell apart and the service was horrible, I always fly United now, and their service is great.

i would definately say anything but US air....united isnt great but it is definately better... US air has the highest delayed flight percentage and its branch called ASA connections is just horrific

For me,personally,i love US Airways.I fly with them transatlantic alot and have never had a problem with them.The first time i ever flew,was with US Airways and the staff were so kind. I was so nervous and crying and really scared to get on the plane,but they talked to me and got the co-pilot to talk to me too and walked me to my seat etc.SInce then,and being treated so kindly,i love flying now and always fly with US Airways when visiting America.Their transatlantic planes are clean and upto date. They always have great,new released movies on the in-flight entertainment system.Also,i'm vegetarian and they offer great vegetarian meals on the plane,if you request one when booking your ticket.I've even had free upgrades to First Class a couple of times!Out of the 10+ times i've flown to America,only one of my flights has been seriously delayed,and that was because it was late departing from it's first stop due to weather.Other than that,none of the flights i've ever taken with them have been delayed for more than 30 minutes - and those delays are usually down to weather or a delay on the run way,things they can't really control.So,in my opinion,US Airways is better )

For the same route, same price, I would fly UA. But US has some nonstop routes that are cheap and convenient. That's when I would fly US. The biggest difference I think is their hubs, which determines their routes, their passenger profiles, and ground crew. San Francisco vs. Las Vegas? Washington DC vs. Philadelphia? You get the picture.

I find that they're about even. I travel for business so cheapest fare is what I have to take. United is almost never cheapest but US usually is.Honestly, I think they're all lacking some.
