Default Carrying an LCD Monitor onto a plane?

I'm looking to carry an LCD (20" panel) onto a small plane (a De Havilliand 8 ) on US Airways. What's the best way of doing this? I know I should ship this but I don't have a lot of time and want to bring it home for Christmas.

you should send it through cargo, much better...but since you gonna bring it together with you, all i can say pack it in a box and make sure it can stand the impact or your LCD monitor will be broken...
