Changing a US Airways ticket to Hawaiian Airlines without the penalities?

I am flying from ABQ-PHX-HNL this coming Wed. Unfortunately good old US Air ways only flies a B757 to Honolulu. I am trying to see how can I change flights in Phoenix unto Hawaiian, as they fly B767, I only want to do a standby or see if they honor my US Air ticket... I am not interested in paying the extra $100 + the difference in fare. Is there a way of only doing a standby on Hawaiian??? I don't get why airlines really like to cram people on Narrow Bodies when flying long distances...

No way!If it isd booked, you will loose the ticket if not flown.Plus I am sure you bought a discounted fare, thus no changes with-out penalties!
