Default Do you think US AirWays was correct>?

Read this article and give us your thoughts:http://learnsomethingnewtoday.us/Mr. Bill Sullivan, an 82 year old WWII Veteran was kicked off a US Airways flight by the pilot because he didn’t have the proper paperwork for his oxygen machine that he needs due to congestive heart failure and emphysema.

I think I have flown on that airline for the last time. That pilot was an idiot, and should be ashamed of himself.

Absolutely Correct.Mr Sullivan is responsible for having the proper paperwork, period. The pilot has ABSOLUTE FINAL AUTHORITY over the operation of the aircraft, period.I can fit enough plastic explosive into a portable Oxygen bottle to blow an airplane in half.If a pilot lets someone violate the rules, the aircraft is destroyed, and one of your family dies, are you gonna think it's OK. As long as some geezer is NOT RESPONSIBLE enough to follow the rules, it's the pilot job to not lets him slide.
