Do airlines offer any assistance with small children? I am flying soon from Hawaii to Florida with 3 children, which means 2 carseats, a stroller and carryon (please pray for me), I know sometimes they let you board first but do they offer assistance with carrying the carseats through the isles? (the airline is US airways)I need the carseats on the plane for my infants they have their own seat, I cannot stowe themand no the seats werent cheap, what are you talking about (3rd dude to answer)....

They will stowe them for you, usually you leave them at the front of the plane, they stowe them for you and you get them when you get off the plane.

Most airlines' flight attendants will help you stow away your belongings onto the airplane. Also, most carriers will help you bring yout items down the jetway if there's enough people working at the gate to help the other customers.

not usually no. Their attitude is they gave you cheap seats for the kids and you decided to fly like this, you're responsible for getting onto the plane.

Don't you think it might be a good idea to get someone to go with you to help you??? The airline staff will help you as much as they can, WHEN they can, but all of THAT is expecting too much.US AIRWAYS?? Hehehe...you'll be doing all of that by yourself...don't expect much help from them...

Most flight attendants are helpful enough, particularly if you ask them for help nicely. You could ask for a "skycap" or "personal assistant" at the airport (but be prepared to tip them if they help you, because they rely heavily on tips), and that could help you quite a bit. Traveling with kids is difficult at best. Just ask and see if they would be willing to help you. You should be able to get some kind of help throughout the whole ordeal of venturing through the airport, from checking in, to getting through security, to boarding the plane. Ask for help from everyone, from security, from the ticketing agents, from the flight attendants, etc. What's the worst they can do? Say no?Best of luck!

My advise is to get the airport PA's to help you and tip them. You sounds like you really need them.Flight Attendant would help you on-board with storage but childcare...you are on your own.Ask Hawaii ground personnel to fax a request to Florida to ensure a PA to receive you at aircraft's door upon disembarkation; because F/A will not help you out of their boundary (aircraft's door). You will need to tip but believe me...in your situation, it will be worth it or even necessary. Good luck.
