I need more advice for planning a trip to Disney World. When is the best time for my dad and me to go?

Hi all fans of Star Wars and fans of Disney World!!!! I need more advice on planning a trip to Walt Disney World. When is the best time for me and my dad to go to Disney World and when is the Star Wars weekends???? I found a good deal from US Airways for the Disney Trip packages should I tell my dad about the packages that I found when he gets home from work? Can I meet Darth Vader at the Star Wars weekends? Because I am a Darth Vader fan and I support the evil galactic empire!!!! does US Airways has a good deal on Disney World that cost $564? Am I allowed to dressup for the Star Wars weekends????? I am wandering should I dressup as Darth Vader for the Star Wars weekends and bring my red lightsaber to disney world? Can I book Disney's Magical Express with Us Airways? Thank you and give me some good feedback. Can I bring a Star Wars lightsaber oborad the plane? Should I book my flight with us airways from CLT to MCO? My lightsaber fits into my tote. I will take my darth vader mask too!

First, $564 is not a good price for a flight, unless that is for both of you. You can book the Magical Express from any flight, if you are staying at a Disney resort hotel. It is part of the hotel package.They do not have 2008 dates for a Star Wars weekend. Star Wars weekends are usually in June and the events are mainly in the Disney Hollywood Studios park. You can dress up, but you won't be able to wear your mask. You won't even be able to bring it into the park. Your lightsaber is allowed as long as it is the plastic tubing and not the glass. Check your lightsaber on the flight. It may or may not be confiscated if you carry it on.If it isn't a Star Wars weekend, you won't be able to wear your costume. Costumes on adults are against the rules because it confuses the children.Edit: They did change the name, starting Jan 2008. Also, if you want the best time to go for crowds, it's the first week in December. The parks are already decorated for Christmas, but everyone is still in school.

Look on the Disney site and see when the hotel rooms are the cheapest. That's the off season and that's when you should go. Do NOT go when a lot of Americans are on summer holiday or spring break or whatever because the place will be packed solid, trust me, I've been to Disney about 30 times and you do not want to be there when everyone else is there. October/November is a good time, as is May usually. P.S. the person above me means Disney MGM Studios--Disney Hollywood WTF... Unless they've changed the bloody name of the thing... who knows
