Here are a couple of sites that present "unofficial" info (including rumors). Check back in with these sites every so often, as they update these when more info becomes available.http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/guides/mgm/events/st-starwars-weekend.htmhttp://sww.mgmstudios.org/main/Another good site for unofficial Disney info ishttp://wdwmagic.com/As for a guidebook, I usually use The Unofficial Guide. Another good one is Birnbaum's Guide. Both of these are available at any bookstore.Magical Express is currently working with every airline that flies into Orlando. You can only use it if you are staying in a Disney resort; the resorts located at Downtown Disney do not use the program.Tickets: You can look here for information on tickets.http://www.mousesavers.com/As Mary (the owner of the site) posts several times, and as you'll see everywhere, DO NOT buy tickets from any unofficial source. Disney now tracks the tickets to biometric information (such as length of fingers); also, there is no way to check if the used tickets are still good. She has a number of good tips on other ways to save money, though.

I like to plan my park trips through GetAwayToday.com. You can find their brochures in the office of many schools, or you could call/email them for one. I can tell you from personal experience that they have the best rates for park entries, hotel packages, etc.http://www.getawaytoday.com/Default.aspxTheir rates are better than AAA's.The 2008 Star Wars Weekends dates are unconfirmed as of today. You might want to check back once in a while to see if there have been any updates. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/calendar/specialeventslisting/index?id=CalendarSpecialEventsListingPageI imagine they'll post a character list along with the schedule.Typically if you book a trip through Get Away Today they send you all kinds of brochures on the parks along with other attractions in the area. You could also ask they include a map of the area. The mousesavers website is so complicated to go through and figure out, but after comparing ticket prices Get Away Today tickets still appeared to cost less. Of course you should do some research too.

You have asked this same question several times. But let's see if we can put this a bit different way that may help you understand. The biggest thing for you is the dates and guests for Star Wars Weekends are NOT Confirmed. If you are looking for a specific actor you are going to have to wait until the official schedule is published. Until then you will be unable to do any bookings. Any travel agent is going to need to know exact dates of travel before they can give you an actual cost. But if you want an approximate cost you can go to the reservation link below and put in one of the weekends in June to get an idea. Now, if you just want general information. You can go to your local book store. They will have entire sections devoted to Walt Disney World in the Travel section. The other thing you are going to have to decide how many days you can be there for. If your only concern is SWW then you probably can get away with a 2 Nights Hotel/3 Day Ticket. I would still get the "Park Hopper" option so that you can go to other parks if you decide to. Keep in mind that the way Disney does their pricing, the cost per day goes down the longer you stay. So it may not be that much more to spend 3-4 nights than it does for 2. The links below will get you to some Disney/Star Wars Fan sites that will probably be one of the first places you will hear about the official schedule. Along with the Disney Reservations if you want to get an idea for costs.

Girl, you need to CHILL OUT! Stop asking the same question every 2 days! The SW weekends have NOT been announced yet. There are rumors online, but NO guests known yet. The best Disneyworld guide is the Passporter. We used their Cruise edition and it is worth every penny!

This event is well attended, so plan on arriving early. Guests are usually allowed to gather on Hollywood Boulevard about 30 minutes prior to official Park opening.Consider dressing in "Star Wars" costumes for the event — many Guests do!Dates:2008 - check back for confirmed dates (from the link below(official))Magical Express is available with US Airways (and any other airline) as long as you are flying into Orlando International.
