With the pulling back of US Airways from PIT, is it becoming an under served airport? If you have been to PIT, I would really appreciate your views of the airport. How was your experience? Would you recommend PIT to others?Thanks

I made a round trip from there in Sept. the flights were on time and everything went pretty smooth except the lines were long getting checked in and all that taking your shoes off and stuff was a real pain.

It's a really nice airport, actually. I think it's quite efficient (flights arrive and depart on time, staff knows what they're doing and are helpful, etc.). When I've been there, it's always quite busy, actually. I don't think it's suffering too much.Looking at their website to see whether it is struggling or not, I found a press report stating that 8 of their Airlines are having large INCREASES of passengers. Other carriers are picking up slack especially Southwest.
