Default Why are so many Americans brainwashed into automatically reacting to a list like this by blaming Bush?

As many of you know I frequently ask questions pertaining to radical Islam. A good majority of the responses from the Left have absolutely nothing to do with the question at hand.US embassy take over in Iran – 1979Kidnappings of 10 Americans in Lebanon – 1982-91Suicide truck bombing of US embassy, Lebanon – 1983Suicide truck bombing of US marine barracks, Lebanon – 1983Bombing of US Embassy annex in Kuwait – 1983Suicide bombing attack of US embassy Lebanon – 1984Hijacking of Kuwait Airways Flight 221 – 1984Restaurant bombing, Madrid Spain – 1985Hijacking of TWA 847, Beirut – 1985Rheine-Main air base bombing, Frankfurt Germany – 1985Hijacking of cruise liner Achille Lauro, Port Said Egypt – 1985Hijacking of Egypt Air 684, Malta – 1985Rome and Vienna airport grenade and gun massacres – 1985The bombing of TWA flight 840 – 1986La Belle Disco bombing, West Berlin – 1986Pan Am flight 103 bombing, Lockerbie Scotland – 1988Pan Am flight 103 bombing, Lockerbie Scotland – 1988Gun attack on CIA employees, Langley VA 1993World Trade Center bombing, NYC – 1983Jewish Cultural Center bombing, Buenos Aires Argentina – 1994Bombing of US Military Complex, Riyadh Saudi Arabia – 1995Khobar Towers bombings, Dhahran Saudi Arabia – 1986US Embassy bombings, Nairobi Kenya and Dar es Salaam Tanzania – 1998USS Cole bombing, Aden Yemen – 2000Destruction of the WTC, NYC and Pentagon attack, Wash. D.C. – 2001http://www.terrorismawareness.org/know-about-jihadThe above list is a good example of my observations. Why are so many liberals (not all but, as a majority) unable to respond to questions pertaining to radical Islam without bashing Bush? Too much Soros? Too much MSNBC & CNN? Too much Air America (if you can find a station)?Too much Left wing propaganda Kool-Aid?Holy Cow - On the contrary, we should blame the "radical" Islamists. That's what Americans should do that is.

Clearly, it's Reagan's fault. I thought republicans were the party of "personal responsibility." Why is it that whenever it's their fault they don't want to play the "blame game."

It's partisan politics at its finest, It's the same way that no republican can admit that Iraq was a mistake and America is getting screwed over by big corperations. Cons and libs are both guilty of it

It is easier than facing the real problem of Muslim terrorism.

Glad i'm not. Blame Amin Al Husseini for the problems we face today or you could blame British intervention in Jerusalem

To answer your question do you remember who was president during all those terrorists attacks? Nice list Let me jog your memory bush sr was in office. During bush jr, 911, london bombings, spain, train bombing and the list goes on. Thank you for providing acurate information to prove the libs are right and you are wrong.

It's human nature. We tend to selectively screen/skew our view of reality in favor of supporting the decisions we have already made - in this case partisanship.Happens to everyone to some degree or another.

Okay, you have a list of events that were perpretated by Islamists (not that I have factual knowledge, but for the sake of argument). What is your point? The world is 1/6 Muslim (I think about a billion Muslms) so, in any religion, wouldn't there be some number that do 'bad things'? I'm not belittling the events - horrible each and every one. Is there a similar list of bad things done by other faiths over the past 22 years?

what wait, all terrorist attacks magically stopped at 9/11? I somehow think your list is incomplete. I probably shouldn't respond to you since you appear to have already made up your mind about the subject by the consistant use of derogatory terms at every chance you get.But for others reading this, terrorism, including muslim terrorism has been a problem long before Bushes term in office. However, Bush's action have in the long run strengthened the hand of extremist terrorist groups. Attacking and destroying the infrastructure of countries is a good way to send new recruits into the hands of terrorists and make people willing to kill themselves for their cause. What Bush really needed to do was isolate the terrorists and keep them from gaining any public support or sympathy, and work with foreign governments and police forces to deal with the problem. He certainly stopped doing by wasting US goodwill and military strength by invading Iraq.So yes, Bushes foreign policies have been responsible for an increase in terrorism even if terrorism existed prior to his term in office.
