will the airplanes of (former) america west be re-painted in the us-airways-colors....?

It takes a pretty long time depending on when they are rotated in for heavy maintainance., but the old ones will be repainted and the new ones will be in USAir colors.

Airlines are required to "fly their own colors".If an aircraft is to be sold, it must be "painted out" or the new owner must have it painted in their own colors before flying it.

They have been getting painted since this started. AWA started painting the Airbus's first. They will all have the same ugly blue and white paint scheme.

All the 757s are done or are close to being done as well as the rest of the A320 family. The 737s arent that far.
