Oil hit $100 a barrel, and it will go higher. Now that China's economy is on the rise, it is a bigger consumer of oil...right now China only accounts for 9% of the world's consumption. But that will change, and we are running out of black gold. You can blame Bush for a lot of things, but not for China's economy.Note: China is also the world's larest emitter of greenhouse gases.

we need to take care of our own! screw the environmentalists and start drilling here in the United States! what a bunch of idiots!! why wouldn't I plant my own garden in my backyard? Must be somebody is making more money and good relations with these foreign entities to be putting America at such a risk. Just look at 911. Who's family was the only one allowed (by Bush) to fly out of the US when all other planes were grounded? Were they having a bad day at the market?!?

You first need to let me know when Bush himself raised the price of oil....I know many poor Americans that get rides from others, take the bus, and use their car. And, as others have stated, open up Alaska to safe drilling, instead of depending on foreign oil, but getting that past a Democratic Congress will be next to impossible.
