Who should we really blame? Blame who ever you feel like pointing the finger at. Did that magically fix the whole retarded world in which we live? No! What's done is done.I voted for President Bush, not once, but TWICE. Why, you may ask? Because in a two party system, your choices are pretty much limited to the lesser of two evils. I would never vote for Al Gore (or Hillary for that matter) because of what happened during the end of the Clinton administration. During their last year in office they tried passing through a 65 million (!) acre Roadless Initiative Bill that would have made almost all federal (our taxes paid for) land off-limits to ANY kind of recreation (horse, hiking, motorized, etc.). These kind of bills are crafted by eco-exclusionist (enviromental groups with underlying agendas) who work very closely with the Democrats. I CANNOT TOLERATE these kind of special interest groups being catered to. Besides, Al Gore beats the drum of global warming but all the while his monthly electric bill at his home is as much as what some people earn in a year. Can you say "Do as I say, not as I Do?"I will never vote for Kerry either. Kerry was the Governor of Massachusets. While he was in office, his states legislature tried passing a statewide ban on OHV use (Off-Highway Vehicle's), tried making anything with a 2-cyce engine illegal (which contribute almost nothing to emmissions nationwide) along with several other BS eco-nazi bills. Bills like these, to me, are like gun control bills. Taking one freedom away, one at a time, in the name of protecting you from yourself. As for Bush, he is definetly not in the back pocket of the eco-exclusionist but he has passed other bills that infringe upon our freedoms (which is very un-Republican of him). The Patriot Act is one that comes to mind. President Bush is far from the best president but historically, he's not the worst either. |
