The Livingston Avenue Bridge connects Albany to Rensselaer and is used by Amtrak to go across the Hudson River.

The trains from Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Chicago use a bridge somewhere between the Schenectady and Albany-Rensselaer stations. Most other Amtrak trains to NYC from the points west of the Hudson use a tunnel, between the Newark, New Jersey, and NYC stations.
